Week BRI League 1 results: Supersub Hari Nur Yulianto scores 2 goals, PSIS makes PSM battered
PSIS Semarang defeated PSM Makassar with a score of 4-0 in Week 33 of the Week Bri League 1 2022/2023, Thursday (6/4/2023) evening WIB. This defeat was the first for PSM in the last 12 matches.
PSIS Semarang fielded the best squad to face PSM Makassar in the Week Bri League 1 2022/2023. Coach Gilbert Agius did not make many starter changes.
PSIS still relies on Ridho Syuhada and Septian David Maulana on the wings. The two of them will help the movement of the trio Wawan Febrianto, Taisei Marukawa, and Carlos Fortes as the spearhead.
Meanwhile, PSM Makassar plays a 5-3-2 scheme. Coach Bernardo Tavares installed duo Ramadhan Sananta and Everton on the front lines.
Winning 2 goals
PSM Makassar pressed the PSIS Semarang defensefirst in the 26th minute through Agung Manna. However, the ball from the kick could still be anticipated by the PSIS Semarang goalkeeper escorted by Adi Satryo.
Three minutes later, PSIS took the lead through Septian David Maulana. Maximizing Fredyan Wahyu’s bait, Septian David fired a kick which PSM goalkeeper Muhammad Ardiansyah failed to secure.
The goal raised the spirits of Laskar Mahesa Jenar’s troops. In the 32nd minute, Alfeandra Dewangga made threats even though the ball from his shot was still too easy for the PSIS goalkeeper to secure.
PSIS Semarang then succeeded in adding to the advantage in the 42nd minute through Bayu Fiqri. Maximizing a corner kick from Taisei Marukawa, Bayu headed the ball towards the top left corner of PSM Makassar’s goal. The 2-0 score for PSIS advantage lasted until halftime.
Entering the second half of the match, PSM tried to take the initiative to attack. However, a number of efforts from Yance Sayuri, Anandra Raehan Latif, to Ramadhan Sananta could still be anticipated by PSIS’s defense.
In the 51st minute, Carlos Fortes spread threats in front of the PSM goal. However, the ball from the kick was tamed by goalkeeper Muhammad Ardiansyah.
PSIS finally added to the advantage in the 60th minute through Hari Nur Yulianto, who had not been on the field for a minute. This goal was born after Hari Nur maximized the bait from Wawan Febrianto.
In the 80th minute, Hari Nur again listed his name on the scoreboard. Hari Nur scored the second goal in the match after maximizing Vitinho’s pass.
PSM then had time to open their hopes in the 86th minute through Mufli Hidayat. Unfortunately, the ball from the kick has not been able to tear the PSIS nets. Until the long whistle sounded, there were no additional goals.

Let’s Check Out Your Favorite Team’s Position!
PSS Sleman was in an unfavorable condition when hosting Bali United at the Maguwoharjo Stadium, Sleman, Friday (7/4/2023). The club nicknamed Super Eagle Jawa is certain to be without its foreign legion in the 33rd week of the BRI League 1 2022/2023 match.
This was confirmed directly by the coach of PSS Sleman , Seto Nurdiyantoro. Seto said that his three players namely striker Yevhen Bokhashvili, midfield duo Jonathan Cantillana and Jihad Ayoub will be absent in the match later.
“Yevhen Bokhashvili can’t play, Jonathan Cantillana is still a question. There are several players who haven’t been able to play us, so we don’t have many choices,” said Seto Nurdiyantoro, Thursday (6/4/2023) afternoon.
“In the previous game against PSIS Semarang, we also did not have foreign players. Although we hope that in the next match there will be additional ammunition,” he continued.
Apart from not being able to field their foreign players, Super Elang Jawa also had to lose their mainstay defender Ifan Nanda. Ifan was absent because he was in the middle of a training camp with the U-22 Indonesian National Team in Jakarta.
The absence of a number of players has clearly reduced the strength of Laskar Sembada. But Seto wasn’t too bothered. He wants whoever is sent down to appear with a high fighting spirit.
“There is no Ifan Nanda in the national team, yes, we will maximize what is there, only Marckho Sandy, Purwaka Yudhi, and Dedi Gusmawan,” he explained.
Bali United is ranked fifth in the standings with a collection of 51 points. Meanwhile, PSS Sleman is far behind. Super Eagle Jawa is scattered in 17th place in the standings with 31 points.
Facing this match, PSS coach Seto Nurdiyantoro stated that his squad was in good condition. All preparations for approximately four days are expected to have a positive impact on the match later.
“We are preparing the players’ conditions, then evaluating what happened yesterday a little on how to play in the first and second half as well. We hope that the players can adapt to the atmosphere of Ramadan,” said Seto Nurdiyantoro.
“One of our evaluations is about fitness conditions during the night matches and fasting conditions during the day. The hope is not to cause problems for the next match,” he continued.
PSS Sleman is determined to steal full points in this match. Moreover, the previous week they had just gotten a minor result after being humiliated by PSIS Semarang with a landslide score of 2-5, Sunday (2/4/2023).
Therefore, an additional three points is very important in order to boost their position in the standings table. At the same time ending their bad record on the league stage.
Because, until the 32nd week in total, PSS has swallowed 19 defeats and is the team with the third most goals conceded in the 2022/2023 Week Bri League 1. PSS’s goal has conceded 52 times.
“My hope is for tomorrow’s match because the last match in this year’s home competition can be closed with a win,” said Seto.
“Hopefully the players can perform optimally and optimally with a strong desire and will. Hopefully what we wish for can be achieved,” added the former PSIM Yogyakarta coach.
Even so, the AFC Pro licensed coach realized that the three-point mission his team was carrying would not be easy. Moreover, the potential opponent faced is Bali United. A top team that is inhabited by a number of qualified players.
“We have to anticipate Bali United with this classy material. Tomorrow will not be an easy match, the hope is that such a situation can be defeated with existing motivation,” hoped Seto.
“They also made changes in the second round. But the size I don’t know for sure, hopefully tomorrow’s match will be in our favor,” he concluded.
