Mbappe is staying at PSG, but he still has time to move to Madrid

Angel di Maria said Kylian Mbappe made the right decision to stay at PSG but he also said this did not mean Mbappe would not be able to play at Real Madrid in the future.

Mbappe is widely said to be leaving PSG in the summer of 2022. Because he did not renew his contract at the club.

Mbappe is said to want to find a new challenge. He was later called to join Real Madrid.

Mbappe still has time to move to Madrid

Kylian Mbappe’s decision to stay at PSG received a thumbs up from Angel Di Maria. However, the Argentine added that the decision did not automatically prevent Mbappe from moving to Real Madrid in the future.

Mbappe himself signed a contract for only three years at PSG. So after that he was still able to join other clubs, including Real Madrid.

“I think he has made the right decision. He is still young and has time to go to Madrid, he has time to go wherever he wants,” he said as reported by Goal.

“He has just signed a contract for three more years and he will be 26 years old. He has a lot in front of him.”

“He likes to make history and he will continue to make history here. He almost scored 200 goals,” said Di Maria.

Mbappe’s chance to Madrid

Angel Di Maria was then asked about the possibility of Kylian Mbappe moving to Real Madrid after his contract at PSG ended. But he couldn’t give a definite answer.

“I don’t know, people at Madrid are complicated. The Bernabeu is difficult, but he has the talent to win them,” he said.

Madrid itself has the possibility of no longer chasing Mbappe after failing to recruit him. This has happened before in the case of David de Gea.

Mbappe said

After staying at PSG, Kylian Mbappe had time to talk about his future. He admitted that he did not close the door to join Real Madrid one day.

“It will never end, it will never end. The only thing now is that I have signed a contract for another three years. You never know what could happen in the future,” he told BBC Sport.

“I give up thinking about the future, I only think about the present and the present is that I have signed a new contract for another three years at Paris Saint-Germain,” said Mbappe.
