Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Divock Origi will leave Anfield and he will move to another club with legend status.
Origi was recruited by Liverpool from Lille in 2014. He was loaned earlier to the French club.
Origi then struggled to become a regular starter. He is more familiar with the bench.
However, Origi is loved by Liverpool fans. Because when he came on as a substitute, he often scored crucial goals for the Reds.
Divock Origi’s contract at Liverpool is coming to an end. He is also rumored to have definitely left Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp then confirmed that Origi would leave Liverpool. And in the last game of the Reds this season, he will get a special farewell party.
“We can only do that with those we know for sure, and that’s just Div. Yes, I wish Div a special welcome and a farewell,” he told the Liverpool Echo.
Jurgen Klopp added, Divock Origi will not just leave Liverpool. He will move to another club with a status that cannot be easily obtained by other players, namely a legend.
“He was and will forever be a Liverpool legend, one of the most important players I’ve ever had. It sounds really strange considering the number of games he has had but it was and is a pure joy to work with him. It’s not over yet – just Premier games. The last league – but he deserves all the good thoughts we can somehow generate for his future, and wherever he goes he will be successful, 100%.”
“What an amazing player, an amazing kid, everyone in the team loves him because he’s such an easygoing guy and a really fun guy. It’s going to be a tough time when he actually leaves, it won’t happen now, but whenever it is.” it’s going to be difficult,” he said.
“Since I’ve been here, Div has been here. I remember a lot of things when I think about the incredible Div, some important goals, some serious injuries, ups and downs. He is a Liverpool legend, no doubt about it,” Klopp said.
