Italian National Team, The 2022 World Cup will be tough! Seven coaches have resigned after their team sank.

Qatar World Cup is now entering the semifinals. So far, there have been many stories that have occurred at this four-year event in Qatar.

Morocco was surprisingly able to advance to the semifinals. Walid Reragui’s team will next face France before advancing to the final.

Meanwhile, a sad story came from Germany. Der Panzer failed to advance to the round of 16 despite having sufficient player material.

Even though Germany failed at the 2022 World Cup, Hansi Flick did not lose his job. He is still trusted by the German Football Federation to continue to handle Jamal Musiala and colleagues.

However, other coaches took different steps. They decided to resign after their team was eliminated from the 2022 World Cup.

Here are seven coaches who chose to resign after their team failed at the 2022 World Cup .

Gerard Martino

For the first time since 1990, Mexico failed to qualify for the last 16 of the 2022 World Cup . This made Gerardo Martino resign from the coaching chair.

At the 2022 World Cup, Mexico is in Group C with Argentina, Saudi Arabia and Poland. However, El Tri was unable to qualify for the round of 16 after finishing in third place.

Mexico collected four points, the same as Poland who became runner up. However, El Tri had to be eliminated because he lost the number of productivity goals from Poland.

Robert Martinez

Under Roberto Martinez, Belgium had shown promise at the 2018 World Cup and Euro 2020. In fact, Belgium was in first place in the FIFA rankings for quite a long time.

However, Martinez was unable to bring Belgium to do much at the 2022 World Cup. Romelu Lukaku and colleagues were eliminated after only being in third place in Group F

From three matches, Belgium was only able to win one victory. This poor result made Roberto Martinez decide not to continue his career as coach of Belgium.

Paulo Bento

South Korea is one of the countries that can steal attention at the 2022 World Cup. They were able to beat Portugal and advance to the round of 16.

However, South Korea’s journey only reached the round of 16. They were forced to admit Brazil’s advantage with a score of 1-4 and had to leave Qatar early.

This defeat also made Paulo Bento decide to part ways with Son Heung-min and colleagues. He stepped down from the post shortly after they were dumped out of the 2022 World Cup.

Otto Addo

Ghana did not perform satisfactorily at the 2022 World Cup. Fighting with Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay, Ghana is bottom of Group H.

Ghana only won one win and suffered two defeats from three matches. With the provision of three points, Ghana will also be eliminated from the 2022 World Cup.

Otto Addo stepped down as Ghana coach after they were dumped from Qatar. Addo himself took over Ghana in February 2022

Luis Enrique

Spain joined in the group of hell with Germany, Japan and Costa Rica at the 2022 World Cup. La Furia Roja qualified for the round of 16 as runners up in group E.

However, Luis Enrique was unable to bring Pedri and colleagues to the quarter-finals. They lost to Morocco in the last 16 on penalties.

Enrique chose to resign after Spain failed to go far in Qatar. His position was then replaced by Luis de la Fuente.

Tite

Brazil is one of the favorite teams to win the 2022 World Cup. The Samba team has enough classy players to win in Qatar.

The Brazilian public has high hopes for Tite to be able to present the sixth World Cup championship trophy. However, he failed to realize this hope.

Brazil was knocked out in the quarter-finals after losing to Croatia on penalties. After that failure, Tite decided to resign from his position as coach of the Selecao team.

Louis van Gaal

Netherlands’ journey in the 2022 World Cup only reaches the quarter-finals. The Orange Team lost to Argentina.

The Netherlands and Argentina drew 2-2 in 120 minutes. In the penalty shootout, the Netherlands surrendered 4-3

After that match, Louis Van Gaal officially left the Dutch coaching chair. His position was then replaced by Ronald Koeman.

Marcello Lippi, Allenatore from italian national team whose achievements are greater than 32 coaches at the 2022 World Cup

The Italian national team was absent at the 2022 World Cup . However, Gli Azzurri is still a highly respected team until now.

Collecting four World Cup titles , italian national team equaled Germany’s achievement which made the two of them behind Brazil, which has the status of the most successful team in the four-year tournament with five titles.

The last time the Italian national team became the best was in 2006, when the World Cup was held in Germany. In the final, Italy beat France 5-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw until extra time.

italian national team success in winning the 2006 World Cup could not have been separated from Marcelo Lippi’s magical touch as a tactician. Lippi was able to believe Alessandro Del Piero et al. if they could pick themselves up from their slump four years earlier.

At that time, the Pizza Country Team ran aground in the last 16 of the 2002 World Cup Italian National Team. They fell 1-2 to the home team, South Korea.

Amazingly, Marcello Lippi not only won the World Cup trophy but also the Champions League with Juventus. This achievement is not owned by 32 coaches at the 2022 World Cup .

Lippi Sensation Italian National Team

Born in Viareggio, Tuscany and currently 74 years old, Lippi is a former italian national team professional footballer.

Despite never playing for the Italian national team at senior level, most of his career has centered around Sampdoria. In the I Blucerchiati shirt, he made 274 appearances and scored five goals.

He finished his career at Lucchese and started coaching in 1982 as tactician for the Sampdoria youth Italian National Team. The point of success came when he led Napoli to the European Super Cup in the 1993/1994 season.

Since then, he has been the target of many big clubs in Serie A, but it was Juventus who caught him in 1994.

Lippi led Juventus in total in 531 matches until 1999 with a trophy score and a 50 percent winning percentage.

He led the Bianconeri to win the Serie A and Coppa italian national team championships in his first season at the club. He then continued it to the 1995/1996 Champions League.

Leading The Italian National Team

His strong personality and idealism led Lippi to become the italian national team coach in 2004 or two years before the 2006 World Cup was held.

The downturn in the 2002 World Cup made Italy’s PSSI, FIGC, look for a qualified cook. In terms of tactics, Lippi is also very familiar with Italian National Team game traditions.

Playing mostly in a 4-2-3-1 formation, Marcello Lippi is very famous for his defensive solidity. Under Lippi, Italy did not lack great players. Apart from Del Piero, Gli Azzurri also has topnotch ammunition like Francesco Totti, Marco Materazzi and Andrea Pirlo.

Failed At The 2010 World Cup Italian National Team

After winning the 2006 World Cup, Lippi was again entrusted with managing the Italian National Team for a second period, from 2008 to 2010.

Unfortunately, in the 2010 World Cup, luck was no longer on Lippi’s side. Surprisingly, Italian National Team, who is the defending champion, slumped in the group phase.

Not only Italian clubs, Lippi also lifted the 2013 Asian Champions League trophy with Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande.

The One and Only Trainer

He ended his term of service on 22 October 2020 when announcing his retirement from coaching.

To date, he remains the only coach in the world to have lifted the World Cup, Champions League and Asian Champions League. salute!
