England National Team Top Scorers List
England captain Harry Kane

List of England ‘s all-time top scorers . Harry Kane has just surpassed Bobby Charlton’s goalscoring record and has a great chance to surpass Wayne Rooney ‘s goalscoring record as England’s top scorer.

Harry Kane scored one goal when England met Germany in the UEFA Nations League A Group 3 match, Wednesday (6/8/2022) early morning WIB. The match at the Allianz Arena ended in a 1-1 draw.

England as the visitors fell behind in the 50th minute to Jonas Hofmann’s goal. England were then able to equalize the score two minutes before the game was over. Harry Kane scored England’s goal from a penalty.

England failed to win. However, a draw against Germany has an important meaning after they lost to Hungary in the previous match. The match against Germany was also a special moment for Kane. Check out the review below

4 More Goals, Harry Kane!

Harry Kane’s goal against Germany has a special meaning. Because, it was the Tottenham striker’s 50th goal with England. Kane surpassed the goalscoring record of the great English football legend, Bobby Charlton (49 goals).

Now, Harry Kane only needs four additional goals to become England’s all-time top scorer. Wayne Rooney currently holds the all-time top scorer for England with 53 goals.

Rooney is not actively playing anymore. Meanwhile, Kane is still a mainstay and his performance is very consistent. So, Kane’s chance to pass the Manchester United legend’s goal record is wide open.

Kane’s goal record, if it passes Rooney, will probably last a very long time. Because, the active player closest to Kane’s current goal score is Raheem Sterling. He ‘new’ scored 19 goals for the England national team.

Check out the list of England’s all-time top scorers below .

Ronaldo and Messi Lose to Suarez

Uruguay National Team striker Luis Suarez

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi can brag about their hat-trick records. They are far ahead of Luis Suarez.

However, Suarez has one thing he can be proud of because Ronaldo and Messi have never done it. He once scored six goals in one game!

Apart from Suarez, there are three other players who have also recorded a similar record. They are Ali Ashfaq, Baghdad Bounedjah, and Maksim Gruznov.
