Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri beat the drums of revenge against Inter Milan after ensuring his team advanced to the Coppa Italia final by beating Fiorentina, Thursday (21/4/2022) early morning WIB.
Juventus managed to qualify for the Coppa Italia final after beating Fiorentina with a score of 2-0 in the semifinal second leg match at the Allianz Stadium, Turin.
The victory made Juventus entitled to qualify with a slick record. They won 3-0 on aggregate over Fiorentina who in the first leg were also beaten 1-0.
Juventus, who won the Coppa Italia last season, will defend their trophy against Inter at the Stadio Olimpico on 11 May.
This is Juve’s 21st Coppa Italia Final, their seventh in their last eight seasons.
“We have to congratulate the players, because reaching the Final against Inter was the goal of the season. A few difficult days after the draw with Bologna, we failed to take many chances,” said Massimiliano Allegri as quoted by Football Italia, Thursday (21/4/2022).
Juventus this season has not found the best performance. Their meeting record against Inter Milan is also not good, where the Bianconeri are winless in the last three meetings this season.
